So nice, play it twice with today’s feature: $19 for 18 Holes with Cart at Lehigh Resort Club in Lehigh Acres near Fort Myers ($55 Value. Good Any Time until March 1, 2023!)
Sometimes in golf, the best things come in the smallest packages – and that’s certainly true with today’s feature. Located just outside of Fort Myers, today’s feature course, Lehigh Resort Golf Club in Lehigh Acres, is a nine-hole course that packs quite the punch when played as an 18. Featuring water in play, several unique and interesting doglegs, and a large variety of other challenges, Lehigh Resort Golf Club is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
As you make your way through Lehigh Resort Golf Club’s nine-hole layout, you’re in for a unique and challenging track that spans the full gamut of classic Florida golf. The first two holes, a par-4 and a par-3, are two of the easiest on the course and offer straight-away designs that should be easily maneuverable for golfers with some experience. The next two however, the par-5 3rd hole and the par-4 4th, are a different story. Long, fairly tight, and with water and bunkers in play, you’ll need a series of accurate and lengthy shots to have a chance at par through 3 and 4.
Halfway through the round, you’ll meet the course’s biggest and best challenge: the par-5 5th. Playing 511 yards from the tips and featuring a long, doubled-doglegged fairway, golfers of all skill and ability levels consider it a victory to hit the green in regulation here which is the reason it remains the number #1 handicap hole on the course. The final three holes, the par-4 7th, the par-5 8th with plenty of water in play, and the par-3 ninth give you the perfect platform to make or break your round. Keep your ball in play and finish strong, and you’ll have a great shot at a good score for your round. Then - you get to do it all again as this feature is for 18 holes!
A truly enjoyable course with plenty of character, Lehigh Resort Golf Club is a diamond in the rough. Don’t miss your chance to take it on with today’s feature from GroupGolfer!
