Alongside its world-renowned theme parks, the Disney Property outside of Orlando is also known as one of the premier golfing destinations anywhere in the Sunshine State. And that’s exactly to where today’s deal feature will take you if you act now.
Designed by Joe Lee and given an impressive 4-star rating from Golf Digest Magazine, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is a true country club experience. Playing just over 6,700 yards from the back set of tees and carrying a course/slope rating of 72.3/133, the impressive course winds its way through pastel villas, pine forests, palmettos, and sparkling lakes as it takes you through 18 uniquely designed tests of golf.
As you may have guessed from the course’s name, water plays a big part in its layout - coming into play on many of the course’s most difficult challenges. The greens throughout the course, along with being beautifully conditioned, are typically elevated and therefore harder to hold with approach shots, especially due to the frequency of green-side bunkers. As you’ll soon find after you start your round, the course definitely puts a premium on accurate approaches, so don’t hesitate to take an extra club to make sure you get there especially in windy conditions.
Of all of the great challenges spread throughout Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, the most talked-about of them all is definitely the stunning par-3 7th hole. A true challenge despite it only playing less than 160 yards from the tips, your tee shot at #7 not only requires you to hit an island green, but to also avoid two massive bunkers that protect the front left and back right of the green, respectively. Though the handicap rating names it as one of the easiest holes on the course, #7 has been known to make-or-break plenty of promising rounds, so be sure to approach with caution.
There’s a reason that Disney courses are often referred to as "The Happiest Place on Turf!" - and today’s feature shows you why. Don’t miss out on your chance to experience all that the Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course has to offer - reserve your round now!
