Walt Disney World® Golf
Originally developed by course architect Joe Lee in 1971, Disney's Palm Golf Course was redesigned by the one and only Arnold Palmer in 2013. The work modernized the entire layout, with entirely new green complexes, rebuilt tee boxes, and reshaped bunkers. The result speaks for itself: Palm enjoys a solid "4 Star" rating from Golf Digest and earned an award for "Renovation of the Year" from Golf Inc. magazine in 2015.
The 18-hole championship layout measures up to 6,870 yards from the longest set of four tees, so there's a spot for every player. During your round, you'll take in the lovely tropical scenery of the surrounding Florida woodlands, while navigating well-conditioned Bermuda fairways and smooth-rolling greens.
Being Central Florida, one can expect to contend with their fair share of water hazards, and Disney's Palm Golf Course is no exception — four holes on the front and five on the back offer ponds and waterways to swallow up any errant shot. To help guide your play, carts are equipped with GPS technology, which offers hole diagrams complete with yardages, hazards, and pin locations.
Once you've finished your round, you may consider heading to Chip 'n' Dale's Deli, a snack bar and outdoor patio located adjacent to the Disney's Magnolia Golf Course putting green, and a short walk from the clubhouse.
From the time you set foot on the property until the time you leave, the entire experience at Disney's Palm Golf Course reflects the strive for perfection one comes to expect from a Walt Disney World® Golf property — particularly one that also happens to have been named one of America's Top 75 Resort Courses!
