Great Lakes Golf and Sports Complex
When was the last time you were in the world's largest anything? Well, now you have your chance with today’s feature: $20 for $45 worth of range balls and a $7 one-day short-game area pass at Great Lakes Golf Center in Auburn Hills.
Open 363 days a year and home of the largest golf dome in the world, the Great Lakes Golf Center provides golfers with a newly renovated haven to perfect their game. Featuring a 15,000 square-foot short-game area and fifty full grass tees, the outdoor component of the facility gives you the ability to practice your game under the beautiful Michigan sky through October. Inside the giant heated golf dome — which has the longest carry available from any indoor facility in the world — you will choose from 3 levels of hitting bays. When you're ready for the flat stick, the 1,000 square-foot practice green will help you make your putts roll true and smooth.
One feature we love in particular: The auto-tee system — this device will save time and your back by teeing-up the next ball the moment after a ball leaves the tee automatically and to whatever tee height you specify. And Great Lakes Golf Center is loaded with 75,000 brand-new Top-Flite range balls, so you don't have to worry about getting inaccurate reads on your progress because of dead balls.
For the kid in all of us, or for the kids that follow us, the Great Lakes Golf Center also features 54 holes of mini golf, complete with waterfalls, ponds and bridges. All courses are available for special events, birthday parties and corporate outings. As if all of this still wasn't enough, PGA lessons from certified teaching professionals are available and you can even book them right on The Great Lakes Golf Center website. So whether it’s for a lesson, practice session, or just an excuse to get your hands on a golf club with your golf buddies, Great Lakes Golf Center has everything need to hone in on your game under one giant roof!
