Quail Ridge Golf Club
Clear the schedule — it looks like you’re about to have plans. Enjoy one of the friendliest championship courses Western Michigan has to offer with today’s feature: $18 for 18 holes with a cart at Quail Ridge Golf Club near Grand Rapids ($65 Value).
Opened in 1998 and designed by Michigan’s own Raymond Hearn, Quail Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course known for more than just some flags to aim at. The lush natural landscape, accented with gentle rolling hills, mature hardwoods, marshes and ponds, creates a backdrop that can sometimes get you in trouble if your playing partners catch you staring for too long. With multiple sets of tees ranging from 4,709 yards to 6,883 yards, the course at Quail Ridge Golf Club offers players minimal forced carries, which makes it fun and friendly for all skill levels. The generous fairways let you pull out the driver often and the enormous greens give you more chances at birdie putts; however, keep in mind that this is still golf and you will have to earn every opportunity you are given. To make sure you are ready to take advantage of everything you'll face out on the course, make sure you warm up at the practice facility. The full-length driving range has several target greens to help your ballstriking, two putting greens for the flat-stick and a short-game area with practice bunkers, just in case you find yourself in any sandy situations.
Located just east of Grand Rapids and only 45 minutes from Lansing, Quail Ridge Golf Club is a destination that golfers from all areas can take advantage of. Upon arrival, you'll find the staff friendly and eager to assist and pro shop fully stocked, offering everything a golf lover could ask for: Shirts and hats, tees and premium balls, clubs and bags. The bar and grill at Quail Ridge Golf Club offers casual American fare which is perfect for before, after or during your round of golf. The many televisions plus the fully equipped bar makes it a perfect spot to tally up the score after a great day of golf.
