Diamond Valley Golf Club
The rains have gone and the sun shines once again. What better way to see it sparkle than at Diamond Valley Golf Club in Hemet with today's Feature: $22 for 18 holes with cart, a $45 value valid through May 12, 2011.
Diamond Valley Golf Club, designed by Art Magnuson and Bill Martin and completed in 1999, features sweeping elevation changes and an airy, wide-open links-style layout set amid 450 acres of the San Jacinto Mountains. You’ll instantly fall in love with the natural landscape and rolling hills, the canvas upon which Diamond Valley’s lush fairways, greens, waterscapes and foliage are painted.
The course measures up to 6,720 yards from the longest tees, resulting in a 73/135 rating for a par of 72. This challenging "oasis" &mash; so called due to the lack of homes or developments along its perimeter — offers its players ample opportunity to test their mettle against numerous high-risk/high-reward situations. Of particular note is #12, a lengthy 611-yard par-5 that features a two-acre bunker along its entire left flank.
Diamond Valley Golf Club also maintains excellent practice facilities that include an all-grass driving range, a practice bunker and a putting green, all at your disposal for training before and after your round. And if you’re feeling famished, you can snag quality sandwiches, beverages and cigars from the beverage cart when you’re on the course, or visit the snack bar for a cold drink and great food when you’re done.
