EastLake Country Club
Come enjoy the country club experience at one of San Diego’s most appreciated golf courses with today’s feature: $32 for 18 holes with cart, range balls and lunch at EastLake Country Club in San Diego (Up to $93 Value. Expires June 3, 2011)
EastLake Country Club is well-loved by San Diego’s golf population and regularly receives raucous reviews regaling its excellent playing conditions, top-tier amenities and all-around attentiveness to the likes and desires of its satisfied clientele.
Formerly a private facility located just 20 minutes from Downtown San Diego, EastLake Country Club is a convenient place to relax and enjoy a great round of the game you love. The par-72 course was designed by architect Ted Robinson in 1991 with Bentgrass greens and Bermuda-Ryegrass fairways.
The course presents a moderate challenge, playing a total of 6,606 yards from the tips with a rating/slope of 70.1/116. Adding to the difficulty — and also the beauty, as you would expect — of the course is roughly 1,800 trees that frame the well-manicured fairways and six lakes. Also dotting the landscape are 72 bunkers, waiting eternally for any mental mistakes and errant shots.
While out on the course, you won’t be passing the groups behind you or be in danger from runaway slice tee shots, as the course layout features no parallel holes. However, if you happen to experience the occasional snap-hook, you’ll be happy to know that each cart features an onboard GPS system that can help you find your way home.
Among the other amenities here at EastLake Country Club are an all grass driving range, two putting greens and a chipping green for working on you touch. Feel free to talk to the pro shop staff about procuring a lesson from one of the on-site teaching professionals. You’ll also find a grille that makes a perfect place for a quick bite to eat before or after your round.
It’s exactly this well-rounded, well-kept total package that keeps EastLake Country Club in such high regard with local golfers. And if so many people are talking about it, it seems only good practice to head to the course and try it out for yourself. So, grab your clubs and call your friends — it’s time to feel like you belong to the club.
