Tom Speicher, PGA Professional Instructor
Attention all chili-dippers, snap-hookers, push-slicers and otherwise confused golfers living in the south west Florida area: Time to get your game the proper attention it needs. Golf is one sport where "fake-it-'til-you-make-it" just doesn’t work. You can get off to a good start but without proper knowledge of your swing you will never sustain a solid round for an entire eighteen holes.
So whether your handicap is 13 or 3, we would suggest taking advantage of today’s feature: $15 for One Half-Hour Private Golf Lesson with PGA Professional Tom Speicher near Fort Myers ($50 Value. Expires December 31, 2011.)
Tom Speicher, PGA Class A Professional, lives to teach golf. With over 40 years of experience under his belt and buried in his grooves, Tom has continued to pursue further education so he can offer all his students added value, cutting edge theory and new techniques.
The philosophy is simple: First, golfers should be fit to the clubs they play, because no swing is the same either should their equipment. Second, the swing should be kept simple. Although the swing has a lot behind it with science and theory, a golfer can only process so much. Therefore, an emphasis on the basics is key so we are able to limit our thoughts and accelerate consistency. Finally, the final piece is physical fitness. Even though it is not always necessary, it is always a benefit realized when one notices a few more yards of the tee consistently.
If that is not enough reason to give the lesson a shot look at it this way: If your car’s engine were to make an ominous sound, you would take it in for a checkup, right? Apply that same logic to your golf swing.
