Nature Walk Golf Course
Mark Twain — or famed statesman William Gladstone, depending on who you ask — is said to have declared, "Golf is a good walk spoiled." We think you'll politely disagree after taking a "walk" along the fairways of this featured venue: $15 for 18 Holes with Cart and a Large Bucket of Range Balls at Nature Walk Golf Course (Up to a $44 Value. Includes Tax. Good Any Day, Any Time until November 30, 2011.)
Nature Walk Golf Course came about in the spring of 1997 as a unique design from the minds of Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design Group, which have quite the resume of dynamic renovations and designs throughout the Sunshine State.
Known for its meticulous conditions and ease of play, Nature Walk Golf Course easily gained acclaim from Florida golfers near and far. Spanning over a fair 3,512 yards, this par-60 layout is nestled amidst the pristine panhandle landscape, framed out of oak and Florida pine. Nature Walk is consistently listed among the “Bay’s Best” in the annual News Herald Poll.
You’ll start your round with the 320-yard par-4, which features a massive fairway bunker adjacent to a sharp dogleg right. You’ll be able to get on in two with ease but make sure you don’t push that ball left and catch the greenside bunker there to make your life difficult. You’ll find out that for what this course lacks in length it makes up in it’s unique design and meticulous upkeep.
The back nine will kick off with the 143-yard par-3 No.10 with a green guarded by a massive bunker. The next two holes require you to carry over water in this beautiful Florida landscape. Lastly, you’ll finish up on the par-3 No.18 — tee-to-green with nothing but water in between!
Be sure to dust off your clubs on the newly constructed driving range, which is the cornerstone of their 13,000 square-foot practice facility including putting and chipping greens, as well as a pitching green with a practice bunker. All of the necessities necessary to take on Nature Walk Golf Course are at your disposal so turn up your game before you hit the links. Lastly, tally up the days scores at the Lost Ball Café for some great 19th hole food and drinks while you think about the shots that were and could have been.
So don’t miss your opportunity to play a fun, challenging, and picturesque course like the one in Nature Walk Golf Course in sunny Lynn Haven near Panama City Beach!
