Golf Instruction Team of the Country Club of Coral Springs
Enjoy private-club attention on your golf swing from one of four PGA-certified professional instructors with today’s feature at a newly semi-private venue: $32 for One 45-Minute Private Golf Lesson with a PGA-Certified Member of the Teaching Staff at The Country Club of Coral Springs ($65 Value. Expires March 23, 2012.)
The Country Club of Coral Springs has a very deep history. It began with a purchase of 24 square miles of so-called "inaccessible" land in the early 1960s, which then led to a charter for a new city — Coral Springs — and, of course, a golf course! The developer of the land hired golf course architects Edmund Ault & Associates of Bethesda, MD, to make the best of all 165 available acres. While it started barren and flat, the designers smartly used the material excavated from the man-made bodies of water to contour the each hole. Then, on Thanksgiving Day, 1969, The Country Club of Coral Springs opened its doors.
Since then, The Country Club of Coral Springs has been largely unplayable to most due to its private-club status — until now. This 18-hole, par-71 championship course is now open to the public, so grab your clubs and gather your friends for a completely new experience!
Ranging from a comfortable 5,331 yards on up to a challenging 6,779 yards, The Country Club of Coral Springs can be a challenge to men, women and youth of all skill levels. This mature and once-exclusive course offers new non-members a chance to enjoy what members have been enjoying for years, in particular, the superb greens! Thanks to Superintendent Rick Bright, The Country Club of Coral Springs is known by many to have some of the "truest" greens in all of South Florida.
Course facilities include a secluded practice range, short game area, practice putting green and two on-course comfort stations. Inside the golf shop you will find a nice selection on a range of merchandise from the biggest names in the business, as well as PGA staff professionals who can assist you in making this your one-stop-shop for your golfing needs before, during or after your round.
So, whether you're looking for a new driver to put in the bag or a new fairway to call home, do take advantage of this feature as an introduction to the most historical "new" course you're likely to play in South Florida!
