Tami is a PGA Class A Golf Professional. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Minnesota State University and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Tami’s background includes competing on the Futures Tour, golf facility management, and teaching/coaching with several golf schools, including the PGA National Academy of Golf and the Nancy Lopez Golf Schools at The Villages, Florida.
Tami has taught alongside former LPGA Tour Professionals Nancy Lopez, Peggy Kirk Bell and PGA Teaching Professional and former tour player Mike Adams, working with all ages and skill levels. She was also instrumental in developing a comprehensive junior golf program for the nation’s First Tee pilot site. In 2010, she completed the Titleist Performance Golf Fitness workshop Level I.
You lesson will take place at High Velocity Sports in Canton. There, Tami will use the About Golf simulators to analyze the weaknesses in your game and start the process of understanding, the universal prerequisite for improvement. The simulator will analyze your ball flight, ball speed, club head speed, path and club face position through impact, and Tami can channel this information into a specific plan for changes to your game.
Tami is a well-rounded athlete, fitness trainer, and marathon runner who believes in applying golf-specific stretches, exercises and practice drills tailored to meet each individual’s needs, goals and expectations. Her enthusiasm for the game, along with her patience and dedication to her students, creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all.
