Arthur Hill's designs are found spread across the country, from California to Michigan to Wisconsin, and many more states dating back to the 1970s. This semi-private 18-hole layout was carved from Lee County’s undulating pine-covered landscape back in 1969. In 2004, Palmetto-Pine Country Club's tees and fairways were completely refurbished, replaced with new tiff-eagle greens that are a dream to play on. Palmetto-Pine has five different tee locations on each of its 18 holes, spanning over 6,700 yards from the tips with a course/slope rating of 73/127. Given the championship-caliber play, the course has hosted numerous tournaments and has only gotten better with age, exactly as you'd expect from a public course that retains its country-club atmosphere.
