Designed by Jack Cunningham in the early 1990s, Bay Dunes Golf Course is a Scottish links-style layout with the added difficulty posed by numerous water features. In fact, well-placed wet hazards come into play on 10 of the 18 holes. Underestimating this relatively flat course can be easy to do, as Bay Dunes can be quite challenging — particularly when the wind kicks up, which makes approach shots even more tricky. Taking advantage of accommodating fairways to avoid hazards will be your key to success.
Bay Dunes is a par-71, 18-hole championship course with a course rating of 71.7 and a slope rating of 119. While Bay Dunes is no breeze, the choice between one of the five sets of tees will allow any player to choose the appropriate level of difficulty, keeping in mind that the back tees measure in at 6,577 yards.
With a full-size driving range, excellent short game area and large putting greens, there is no reason to be rusty before taking on the course at Bay Dunes.
