Designed by Raymond Hearn, ASGCA member and former Evans Scholarship recipient, this par-72 measures a lengthy 7,246 yards from the tips with a course/slope rating of 76/138 — Macatawa Legends matches its beauty with just as much brawn. However, with five tee locations, the course easily sets up to be challenging yet enjoyable for players at every level.

The perimeter of the club is framed by mature trees, but given its Scottish links-style design — a style in which Ray Hearn is very well-versed — you won't see many trees on the course itself. No time to be wasted here fighting fallen leaves while on the hunt for a wayward shot. There truly isn’t much better than a sunny fall day of golf on rolling bent grass fairways, fescue and heather grass, and the monstrously fun multi-tiered greens at Macatawa Legends!

In order to keep up with the challenges out on the course, be sure to loosen up on the driving range before you tee of on No.1. There's also a short game area where you’ll be able to putt and chip until you’re dialed in. And in keeping with the "tradition" of private courses, you'll see that this beautiful clubhouse fits right in with the best. Inside the well-appointed clubhouse, you’ll find a fully-stocked pro-shop and professional instructors available for lessons, as well as other non-golf amenities, such as a pool and tennis.
