Sandridge Golf Club
Whether you live in the wonderful Treasure Coast area or are just passing through en-route to another piece of beautiful Florida, you'll want to squeeze in a bit of golf fun with today's feature: $15 for 18 Holes with Cart at Sandridge Golf Club on the Treasure Coast in Vero Beach ($34 Value. Use Any Day, Any Time Before September 30, 2012.)
Sandridge Golf Club, owned and operated by Indian River County, offers two 18-hole championship courses designed by Ron Garl: "The Dunes," which opened in April 1987, and "The Lakes," which opened five-and-a-half years later in December 1992.
With an island green on the front nine and softly rolling hills on the back nine, The Dunes winds around an old ridge that runs up the East Coast of Florida that was once used for mining operations in the region. Not to be outdone, The Lakes features one of the toughest holes in all of South Florida: Enter the par-4 No. 14, complete with another (potentially) torturous island green.
Sandridge Golf Club is known as the home of junior golf development on the Treasure Coast. The Treasure Coast Junior Golf Tour begins in early June each year with nearly 200 junior participants and concludes in August with the Junior Championship. Both golf professionals at Sandridge Golf Club, Bob Komarinetz, Director of Golf, and Bela Nagy, Head Golf Professional, have been recognized by their peers with awards for their leadership in junior golf.
Sandridge Golf Club has many additional amenities including an award-winning Pro Shop, full-service snack bar operation, driving range and numerous practice areas, each available to make your experience all the more enjoyable. The level of service experienced at Sandridge Golf Club parallels that of a private golf club, and golfers who visit Sandridge Golf Club can play it at an affordable public price.
