The link-style layout of this course has a balance of beauty and difficulty, and every hole brings a new challenge; a different shot. Whether it is avoiding water, battling wind or recovering from bunkers — this course posesses an intrepid variety of design elements that are sure to be a great time.

This spectacular course is carefully plotted along the banks of the Sacramento River, almost as if the river were the backbone of the course. While the river never comes directly into play, Bartley Cavanaugh has incorporated other water features into the course that do come into play. In fact, you’ll have to avoid taking a dip on 7 of 18 holes!

This truly unique course was designed by Perry Dye, whose family has designed over 250 courses worldwide. The stunning layout sprawls across 96 acres, and even though it only measures about 6,200 yards from the tips, this course provides challenges for all with four sets of tees that range from ratings of 66.3 to 68.9.

Bartley Cavanaugh’s most spectacular signature hole is No. 17, an island-green par-3 that sits only 107 yards from the tee. Just like the pros discovered last weekend at TPC Sawgrass, the key to island greens like this is staying dry on the first shot.
