Grande Golf Club

The Grande Golf Club offers 18 holes of scenic and secluded play. This par-72 bentgrass facility plays as long as 7,157 yards from the tips with a course/slope rating of 74.5/147 and as short as 4,785 yards from the front tees with a 67.1/112 rating. The course also provides four other sets of tees to choose from in between those extremes.

At Grande Golf Club, large and receptive multi-tiered greens are protected by a plethora of greenside bunkers with some of the finest sand you'll play from. These bunkers have been known to gobble up balls struck even the slightest bit off line; however, you'll appreciate the quality of the white sand as you try to advance the ball or get up and down.

The design of the Grande Golf Club offers some straight-forward birdie opportunities along with some lengthy par-5s that will require your full attention from beginning to end. In between you'll find several rather unique holes, such as the par-4 No. 13: This double-fairway trickster will make you choose your destiny from the tee and makes it clear that down the middle is the bad choice, as you'll likely find golf purgatory in the five protective bunkers that run between the fairways. Making this hole even more interesting is the green, which also has two tiers (like the fairway). Be sure to check the pin position before teeing off so your choice off the tee provides the easiest access to the flag.

Many consider Grande Golf Club the best practice area in Jackson. There are two large putting greens, a chipping green (complete with two sand traps for bunker practice), and two large, all-grass ranges. The driving range has 5 different target greens with four yardage plates on each range tee to give you exact yardages to each practice flag. The range is big enough for even the longest of hitters — in fact, Grande Golf Club even hosts a yearly qualifier for the RE/MAX long drive competition.
