Tee off on your choice between two 18-hole championship courses with today’s feature: $31 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Blue Rock Springs Golf Club in Vallejo ($63 Value. Expires January 31, 2013.)
Blue Rock Springs Golf Course is a one-of-a-kind facility with a penchant for offering a truly enjoyable round of golf. With recognition last year as the U.S. Commerce Association's "Best Of" in the public golf category and a reputation for being one of the top facilities in Salano County, Blue Rock Springs prides itself on affordability, superb customer service and, of course, excellent course conditions.
With two distinct, unique courses, Blue Rock Springs Golf Course has a total of 36 holes and someone for everyone. The West Course, aptly drawing its name from its position on the west half of the facility, was recently upgraded with a multi-million dollar renovation in 2006. Its tree-lined fairways guide golfers in their journey over several elevation changes, and as the older of the two courses, these trees have matured into a significant obstacle for golfers veering off-course. Sprawling out over 6,000 yards for a par of 71, the West Course is just the challenge you've been looking for.
The East Course abounds with spectacular vantage points. The North Bay area and Mt. Tamalpais are visible from numerous spots, and if the weather plays in your favor, perhaps even the Golden Gate Bridge will make an appearance. The East Course is the newer of the two, having opened in 1993, and plays nearly 6,200 yards with a par of 70. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, wide-open fairways, slow-rolling hills and slightly fewer obstacles make the East Course a moderate challenge perfect for both the novice and advanced player.
Apart from championship golf, Blue Rock Springs Golf Course provides a wonderful driving range facility with 28 lighted stalls, perfect for working on eliminating that hook or slice well after the sun goes down. If solo practice doesn't straighten out your swing, then take advantage of PGA-certified instruction from the talented staff and learn from the best in a stress-free environment. Finally, don’t forget to stop by the Rock Café after your round to relax with a cold beverage.
