7 Rivers Golf and Country Club is full-featured facility located just east of the Crystal River Preserve State Park near Hernando. As a former private golf club, guests can expect a refined atmosphere, professional service and quality course conditions. Playing 6,683 yards from the furthest tees, architect William Amick constructed this course in 1968 with its surrounding habitat in mind; his historic design stretches over rolling terrain and natural wetlands, producing one of the area’s most true-to-nature rounds. This unique aspect of 7 Rivers has made it a haven for a collection of turtles, egrets, eagles, alligators and other native wildlife.
With a layout that’s both fair and challenging, 7 Rivers Golf and Country Club provides opportunities for easy pitches, creative punches and straight-up approaches on fairways and greens carved from native vegetation. Playing into what can only be described as a variety of wet hazards, 7 Rivers' layout translates to a course/slope rating of 71.5/122. The course also offers five sets of tees, so guests can rest assured that their round can be tailored to their skill level.
If you’re looking for a better score on the card, step out to the club's driving range and putting green. Well-kept to provide the same conditions as the course, this facility offers guests the perfect spot for a quick pre-tee tuneup.
So come explore yet another example of Florida's magnificent golf community with an all-around gorgeous round at 7 Rivers Golf and Country Club.
