Cardinal Country Club offers golfers a relaxing experience in the midst of eastern North Carolina's lush landscape. Playing at 6,802 yards from the longest tees, course architect John Nubin created this unique layout with a more complicated composition of hard-to-reach greens and limited-visual pin placements.

After opening in 1969, the course endured a variety of renovations and now, after removing over 600 trees, implementing Champion Bermuda Turf greens and remodeling five fairways, Cardinal Country Club has become an enduring classic. The modernizations did not alter the essence of the course, and the original intent of John Nubin is yet preserved.

Known to be accommodating to the average golfer, Cardinal Country Club has spent the past few years adding additional tee boxes to test the scratch golfers who visit. Noticeably difficult from these new tees, gifted golfers can find themselves enjoying a whole new course, especially on the last six holes.

Prior to your round, tighten up your game at Cardinal’s practice facility, which is given the same attention to detail as the immaculate course that surrounds it. Grab a few clubs and learn to pitch perfectly from the bunker or putt away on the greens adjacent to the practice range.
