The Links at Bodega Harbour
Take a trip up Highway 1 to the spectacular Sonoma County coast with today's feature: $49 for 18 Holes with Cart and Lunch at The Links at Bodega Harbour in Bodega Bay ($99 Value. Expires June 30, 2013!)
Overlooking the mighty Pacific Ocean along Bodega Bay, The Links at Bodega Harbour is an exceptional example of coastal design at its finest. Gorgeous backdrops of the ocean feature prominently on every hole as the rolling terrain slopes toward the cliffs.
Designed by award-winning golf course architect Robert Trent Jones II in 1976, The Links at Bodega Harbour carries on the Jones reputation for world-class layouts.
So dedicated to his work he is that Jones II returned in 2009 to head up a major course renovation. The $1.2-million project widened fairways, repositioned bunkers and resurfaced greens in bent grass. The result is a fully modernized Scottish links-style golf course that earned a "4-Star" rating from Golf Digest for its challenging layout and breathtaking beauty.
The par-70 features four teeing locations for the enjoyment of players of all skill levels. The longest tees measure 6,290 yards and have a fairly challenging course/slope rating of 71.5/129. The shortest tees come in at 4,801 yards with a par of 69 and a 68.6/118 course/slope rating.
The on-site Bluewater Bistro is "where the Wine Country meets the Pacific Coast" and an excellent choice to enjoy delicious menu options and some of the best views of the Northern California coastline.
With so much to offer, The Links at Bodega Harbour is a must-play destination for any and all golfers that are fans of the game in its most beautiful form.
