His unique vision was implemented across 18 fairways cultivated during the "Golden Age" of golf design and the result is rich in both beauty and history.

Featuring some of the county’s most playable course conditions alongside some stellar views, the 6,174-yard South Shore Golf Course plays relatively short on distance yet long on difficulty. Tree-lined fairways lead to small but accepting undulated greens that have been known to get the best of an unsuspecting golfer. South Shore plays to a course/slope rating of 68.9/122 from the tips, guaranteeing a fair level of difficulty, even for players of more modest skill levels.
