Boca Dunes Golf and Country Club
Boca Dunes Golf and Country Club offers a championship 18-hole golf course, an executive-length 9-hole course and a newly remodeled clubhouse, all in the heart of Boca Raton. Designed in 1970 by Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, a prolific Florida course architect, the courses at Boca Dunes predate much of the area's developments, allowing the links-style layout to flow naturally from the lay of the land, instead of routing around houses and roads.
The par-72, 18-hole championship course at Boca Dunes Golf and Country Club is the perfect layout for golfers of all skill levels, measuring 7,094 yards from its longest set of five tees for a challenging 75.2/132 course rating/slope. Fairways flow from tee to green with rolling topography reminiscent of a links-style design. The course plays long, but the lack of protection from trees allows players to play aggressively, particularly on the par-5s. Though only one is less than 550 yards — and not much less, at 547 — they represent a solid chance for birdie or better.
Boca Dunes' outstanding nine-hole executive course features a fun par-27 layout and measures 1,627 yards from the back tees. For those pressed for time to spend with their golf game, the executive course is the perfect alternative. Practice your short game with a quick round in the morning, during lunch break or after work.
While practicing in a real-world situation is effective, sometimes it's just a matter of putting in the reps. With that in mind, Boca Dunes offers a lighted driving range that accommodates even the most hectic of schedules. From the early morning hours until 10PM, swing your way towards improved form and fewer strokes. You can even work on your chipping or putting on the designated practice greens at any time.
Before you tee off or after you finish your round, head to the fully stocked pro shop. The courteous, knowledgeable staff can help find you the best out of a great selection of the latest in golf equipment, apparel and accessories from names like Callaway and Titleist.
