Built in 1968, the beauty of Illinois is on full display with this 6,695-yard design of bent grass fairways that weave through more than 4,000 trees. The par-72 layout also features a demanding 105 sand traps as well as water challenges on several holes. The course measures 5,710 yards with a par of 72 from the ladies' tees and has been described as changing its personality with the shift of wind direction.

Plum Tree National Golf Club has played host to such tournaments as the U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifying, U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying and many Illinois PGA and Illinois Junior Golf Association events.
