The Golf Club at Brentwood
Come enjoy a great course at a great value with today’s feature: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at The Golf Club at Brentwood in Brentwood ($57 Value. Expires November 1, 2013!)
Located in the East Bay, in the foothills of scenic Mount Diablo, lies The Golf Club at Brentwood, a course you'll enjoy simply because it seems like a picture is hanging in the backdrop of every hole. The well-manicured course awaits you, a shining example of championship golf in gorgeous sunny California.
The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson as a 27-hole championship facility broke up into three sets of nines. The three courses allow players the opportunity to rediscover Brentwood with each different combination. The first nine, The (aptly named) Creekside, runs along one side of the property bordering the creek. Similarly, the name of the second nine, The Hillside, is also indicative of the scenery; this nine plays out among the foothills of Mount Diablo. As for the last nine? Well, it's named Diablo — so we'll let you interpret that one for yourself!
Depending on your choice of nines, the yardage will differ. For the par-36 Creekside, the tees range from 2,739 to 3,485 yards; Hillside ranges from 2,624 to 3,355 yards; finally, Diablo runs 2,624 to 3,124 yards. The slope rating and overall rating changes as well, but tend to be about even, around a 72.0 rating with a 127 slope. The most difficult combination is Hillside and Creekside, while the easiest is Creekside and Diablo — but only by a fraction.
Be sure to take a warm up at the practice facility before your round.
