Bob-O-Link Golf Course
Take the opportunity to create 18 holes that suit your game with today's feature: $19 for 18 Holes with Cart at Bob-O-Link Golf Course in Avon near Cleveland ($43 Value. Expires December 1, 2013.)
When Bob-O-Link Golf Course first opened in 1969, it featured just two nine-hole courses, the White Links and the Red Links. Then, in 1988, and again in 2008, the facility added two more nines, the Blue Links and the Golf Links, respectively. Throughout the long history and all the expansions, there's no doubt about one thing: The current 36-hole configuration is a treat for Cleveland area golfers.
The Red Links and the White Links, the original 18-hole course, measure 2,940 yards and 3,304 yards, respectively, for a combined par of 71, whereas the Blue Links and the Gold Links combine for a standard par 36. So choose whichever two nines you like — perhaps even combine old and new with the Red and Blue!
Regardless of the 18 holes your choose, you're treated to a classic design. Hitters of the long ball have the advantage, especially given the wide and accommodating fairways. However, don't get too comfortable on the tee, because there is water and sand to make you think twice.
Conveniently located just south of I-90 in Avon outside of Cleveland, Bob-O-Link Golf Course is easily accessible for most and well-worth a short trip for anyone else.
In addition to the wonderful options available for play, the facility also puts a lot of effort into making sure its practice facilities and the professional instruction available on site are great places to improve your game. They even make it easy to introduce the young ones to the game by offering the "Starting New at Golf" program for juniors.
