Just a couple seasons short of its Golden Jubilee, Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club has aged particularly well. With consistent and attentive upkeep, Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills has maintained the quality of its design as well as its playability throughout the years.
Designed by one-time course architect Robert L. Jordan in 1965, Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills possesses a particularly dynamic layout that always presents a fresh face on every hole. Bordered to the north by the namesake Lake Wee-Ma-Tuk, the course is also the site of the lake's dam, which creates a reservoir that roughly splits the course in two.
On the west side of the reservoir, players will find the design to be more spacious, with wide fairways, two lakes and a conspicuous lack of trees, save for the few dotting the open layout. The east side, however, has much more going on. Twisting fairways are more narrow and lined with trees, and in some cases are bordered lengthwise by Rose and Frog lakes.
Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club measures 6,724 yards from the longest tees, resulting in a fairly challenging maximum course/slope rating of 73.1/134. Three additional sets of tees are available, with as little as 5,011 yards and a minimum course/slope of 66.2/116.
From the fantastic layout that will always keep you guessing to the great service inside the clubhouse, Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club has the perfect welcoming atmosphere to make you feel right at home.
