The concept for Grande Pines Golf Club was based upon the classic designs of celebrated courses constructed in the "Golden Era of Architecture" of the early 20th Century. Course architect Steve Smyers and his design team — along with player consultant Nick Faldo, himself an accomplished designer — have created this course with the "thinking" golfer in mind, meaning there is ample opportunity for strategic risk-reward shots that promote player creativity.

The par-72 layout at Grande Pines Golf Club is of championship-caliber quality, a description to which the total length of 7,012 yards and firm, fast greens can attest. Consistent with Steve Smyers' design philosophy, the course features four sets of tee boxes, allowing players to scale the challenge to their unique ability. The design of every feature, fairway and hazard on Grande Pines has purposeful intent behind it, and one of the pleasures of this course is exploring all the alternate routes to the hole and the creativity it takes to get there.

As part of a top-notch golfing experience, Grande Pines also features a 44-tee all-grass driving range, a putting green and even a chipping green paired with a practice bunker, so you can work your way through your bag on your warm-up and start your round off right.
