The Lynx, west of the town of Otsego, is a mere 22 minutes from downtown Kalamazoo, an easy 35-minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids and just five minutes west of US-131 on M-89.
The course offers 18 regulation-length holes and gorgeous, never-ending Southwest Michigan views from every tee box. This par-72 accommodates players of all skill levels with four perfectly positioned sets of tees. Well-groomed fairways and fast greens accompany this intriguing design that rewards golfers with an exciting and memorable round.
The Lynx has a course rating of 72.1 and a surprisingly tough slope of 141 — but that's just the beginning. Both nines begin and end at the 2nd highest point in Allegan County, about 90 feet above the valley floor. The front side sends you out and concludes with an uphill dogleg-left par-4. The backside features the course's signature hole, No. 10, a par-4 of 411 yards that boasts a 75-foot elevation drop from tee to fairway, along with five other holes along the scenic Kalamazoo River.
After your round, the westward-facing Lynx Grill, perched high on a hill overlooking the Kalamazoo River Valley, is the place to be. The menu features well-priced grill items and classic casual fare and the staff provide the ultimate in customer service.
