Choose from two fantastic courses right around the corner with today’s feature: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart at Countryside Golf Club in Mundelein ($54 Value. Expires December 31, 2014.)
Countryside Golf Club gifts golfers with two challenging yet inviting 18-hole layouts built upon almost 500 acres of beautifully contoured Illinois landscape. Founded in 1931, Countryside Golf Club has spent the past 80-plus years rewarding golfers with exceptional course conditions and a convenient destination. The choice between the "Traditional" and "Prairie" courses is one that is sure to leave many guests wondering what the greens are like on the other side of the cart path — which, if you didn't know it, runs continuously throughout both courses.
The Prairie Course at Countryside Golf Club features bent grass greens and impossible bunkers. Wide blue grass fairways lend a more open feel; the forgiving layout balances troubling hazards along the way. With a course and slope rating of 71.4 and 121, respectively, this 6,757-yard par-72 gives golfers the ability to challenge their game without sacrificing aesthetics or navigating a "gimmicky" design. This exceptional course is considered the more difficult of the two, so choose wisely from three sets of tees.
The Traditional Course perfectly complements its sister course. This elegant option offers a scenic design that’s slightly less lengthy. Playing to a maximum distance of 6,397 yards, the tree-lined fairways and undulating landscape make for a breathtaking day of play. A course and slope ratings of 70.5/118 is formidable, though may be considered the less demanding of the two courses at Countryside.
With beautiful scenery and immaculate conditions, it goes without saying that these two courses are exactly what your game's been craving. So sneak away for an afternoon of exceptional golf at Countryside Golf Club — where the toughest call you’ll have to make all day is which course to conquer!
