Designed by Dan Maples in 1988, Longleaf Golf and Country Club was built upon the grounds what was once the Village of Pinehurst’s Horse Training Estates. Maples stayed true to the historic nature of the stables in his design, as many features of its past shine through today. Some tee boxes are planted with hedgerows, fresh-cut fairways are lined with tall, mature trees, and white fences and rail posts adorn the clubhouse.

Stretching to a carefully planned 6,600 yards from the back tees, Longleaf Golf and Country Club provides a delicate and difficult 18-hole round. With a slope and rating of 70.9/124, this par-71 presents an overwhelmingly beautiful, yet fairly challenging test of golf. And if "breathtaking" is what you’re hoping for, do try to enjoy the winding fairway up No. 18, one of the most majestic finishing holes you're likely to see.

Though Longleaf features the sort of round one can only experience in the Pinehurst golf area, this renowned facility has even more to give than just world-class golf.
