Indian Hills Golf Club
In the tradition of exposing some of golf's hidden gems, we present to you today's feature: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart at Indian Hills Golf Club in Riverside ($50 Value. Expires March 31, 2015!)
Indian Hills Golf Club, opened in 1965, is located in the Western side of the state's Riverside County. The 18-hole, par-70 course is a Harold Heers-Jimmy Powell collaborative design that has long been considered one of Riverside County's best public golf courses.
Indian Hills Golf Club gets high marks from the public for continually packing great value in such a visually appealing package. The main feature of the layout is its complete avoidance of parallel holes, so you can leave your hardhat at home. The course features lots of elevation changes, including a dramatic drop on No. 16., along with lengthy par-3s and well-manicured and occasionally narrow fairways that require thought and execution to avoid getting out of position. You'll appreciate not only the fine views but also the pace of place, which is very robust even on weekends.
In addition to the natural beauty found on the course, you'll also enjoy warming up your putter on the facility's putting green. In the Pro Shop, you'll find all the equipment and accessories you'll need to make your round a bit more fun, and you can even set up lessons to make your game more competitive.
After your round, hit the 19th Hole Pub & Grille, where the relaxed atmosphere perfectly complements an enjoyable day out on the course. Ice-cold refreshments, a varied menu and friendly staff make the 19th Hole a great end to a great experience here at Indian Hills Golf Club.
