Reid Park Golf Course
Take your pick between two unique eighteens at one of Clark County's most popular municipal courses with today's feature: $14 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Reid Park Golf Course in Springfield near Dayton ($35 Value. Good Any Day, Any Time until July 15, 2015.)
Reid Park Golf Course is a 36-hole golf and practice facility conveniently located in southeast Springfield, just north of I-70. Its two courses, the North Course and the South Course, were both designed by the prodigious Ohio course architect Jack Kidwell.
The South Course is the more open, forgiving layout of the two. Its design allows for the occasional errant shot without penalizing players too greatly. The rolling fairways of the South measure up to 6,422 yards from the longest set of tees, with a course/slope rating of 113/70.
The North Course would be considered Reid Park's "championship" course. Definitely more challenging, the North features a fair amount of elevation changes along its 6,722-yard run. Like the South Course, the North is a par-72 — however, its tricky features earn it a much more difficult course/slope rating of 72.7/136.
With two practice greens and a driving range, Reid Park also is a great setting for working on your game in between rounds. For the hungry among us, the on-site Reid Park Restaurant provides golfers with reasonably priced, casual American fare from morning through evening all season long.
