Located in close proximity to Dillon Lake in the Dillon Wilderness area, you’ll find Vista Golf Course, one of prolific course architect's Jack Kidwell’s traditional designs. Construction on this Central Ohio track was completed in 1973, the same year that brought the Ryder Cup to US soil and saw Jack Nicklaus become the tour money leader and the winner of the PGA Championship.

Jack Kidwell’s designs are known for their ability to provide a fair challenge, with an emphasis on traditional aesthetics, playability and maximization of player enjoyment. Vista Golf Course — just one of Kidwell’s 100-plus designs and renovations throughout the Buckeye State — was designed in concert with the very ground upon which it was built, following the natural contour of the landscape in lock-step.

The par-71 "Vista" course at the Vista Golf Club facility is an 18-hole layout spanning up to 6,701 yards from the tips with a course/slope rating of 74/130. This course’s wide-open design will give you the confidence to release your driver, even if you’re not the kind of golfer that can shape the ball like the tour pros. Furthermore, Vista Golf Course’s layout won’t punish you too badly in the event you push a shot wayward, and there are several opportunities to get a stroke or two back.

Be sure to warm up the clubs at Vista’s driving range, and if your short game needs a touch of attention, head over to the putting/chipping area, where you'll be able to practice bunker saves as well. While you’re giving your game some love, swing into the pro shop for any help on choosing equipment, apparel and accessories that complement your game, your bag or your wardrobe. Lastly, don’t be a stranger at the turn — come in and grab some a bite and a beverage at Vista’s clubhouse, whether it be before, during or after your day on the course!
