Shalimar Pointe is known specifically for its impeccably manicured greens and fairways, so you’ll be quite content with the conditions out on this course, whether you’re a casual player or a scratch golfer. In addition, each of Shalimar Pointe’s 18 holes feature 5 different tee locations to allow golfers of all walks to match difficulty to their skill set.

Shalimar Pointe is a true shot-maker's course and will have you living or dying by every club in your quiver. You get a taste of this playing style when you kick off your round on the long 525-yard par-5 No. 1, composed of two dogleg-lefts. Don’t miss left of the green on this one or you’ll find yourself wet. As you would expect from a Florida course, water plays a big role in Shalimar Pointe’s design, especially in the par-4 No. 3, which sees water running the entire length of its right side. Accuracy with your second shot is a must give the green guarded by water and two bunkers to boot.

Moving onto the back nine, you’ll begin with the par-4 No. 10. The tee shot on this hole can be intimidating given the desert's worth of sand on the left side of the fairway and the string of fairway bunkers along the right side — so if you can stay off the beach you’ll be home with a par easily. The tee shot on the notable par-3 No. 11 carries over water, a fun "signature hole" of sorts. You’ll close up your round on the par-5 No. 18, on which wayward shots will surely land you in the massive bunker to the left or in the water to the right of the long fairway leading up to a heavily undulating green.
