Oak Hills Golf Course
Sometimes, life gets a little hectic and leaves you without much time to scratch the golf itch — and that's the perfect chance to get in a round at today's feature: $20 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Oak Hills Golf Course in Oak Creek near Milwaukee ($52 Value. Good Any Day, Any Time until June 1, 2016!)
Designed by Roy Albert Anderson in 1966, Oak Hills Golf Club is a well-maintained executive-style golf course just south of Milwaukee. With a par of 31 and a total length of just 1,845 yards, this collection of par-3s and short par-4s encourages you to leave the driver at home and focus on puring your irons.
Though the first hole has a right-angle dogleg, the others curve only slightly. But where the dogleg ends, the forced carries begin: Nos. 2, 3, 5 and 6 all feature water crossings. You'll also find sand bunkers surrounding every green, waiting for errant shots.
Oak Hills' practice facilities are ideal for a pre-round warmup — and with a lighted driving range, it's also perfect for some post-round penance. If things go really awry, or you're just looking for some guidance on a specific swing issue, schedule some range or green time with the PGA staff in the pro shop.
Finally, though you may be pressed for time, take a moment to kick back and cap off your round with a sandwich and your favorite beverage. After all, you deserve to get the most out of your time at Oak Hills Golf Club!
