But there is no question in choosing the most intimidating: Having been ranked as Michigan’s toughest par-3 and in the top 18 holes in Michigan by the Detroit News, the No. 3 at Lake Doster Golf Club is just in time for Halloween. Dubbed the “Little Monster”, this 88-yard elevated horror show, sits on a hauntingly narrow peninsula, and is extremely well guarded by three hungry sand traps. How nasty is it? They decided to make it the club’s logo, as pictured above.

The club also plays host to its unique “Eat Your Way to Par” outing several times a year. This event has grown in popularity, and if you haven’t participated before, grab a group and reserve a spot for next year (not valid with this offer). Chef Dave offers up five food stations on the course, serving items like BBQ ribs, pulled pork, hot dogs, sliders, ice cream and made-to-order omelettes.
