Chuck Mayhew, PGA Golf Professional
Golf is one sport where "fake-it-'til-you-make-it" just doesn’t work. You can get off to a good start but without proper knowledge of your swing you will never sustain a solid round for an entire eighteen holes.
So whether your handicap is 13 or 3, we would suggest taking advantage of today’s feature: $18 for a 30-Minute Private Lesson with PGA-Certified Teaching Professional Chuck Mayhew at Westerville Golf Center in Westerville near Columbus ($45 Value. Expires July 15, 2016!)
Chuck has been a PGA member since 1986. Aside from this he’s the current head pro at the Delaware Golf Club, he’s a past Nicklaus / Flick certified instructor, a master club-maker, and has his fitting certifications by Ping, Taylor Made, and Callaway. In addition to this he is the GM / Director of Instruction of Family Golf Centers; rest assured Chuck has seen it all.
“I do not believe in one method of teaching the golf swing. I think there are some basic fundamentals that fit in allteaching philosophies. The understanding of the fundamentals and how they relate to each other is the crux of learning. My goal in teaching is to help you understand how to make yourself a better player by grasping the basics and putting them to work for you.”
— Chuck Mayhew
With years of teaching experience under his belt and buried in his grooves, Chuck has continued to pursue further education so he can offer all his students added value, proven theory, and new techniques. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or expert, Chuck will find out what works for you.
Chuck believes in the simple fundamentals of the game. Building a solid foundation and swing motion is a great place to start but don’t think that is all you will be walking away with. Chuck can show you easy checkpoints and references so you can coach yourself and enjoy this game forever – the way it should be.
