Reddeman Farms Golf Club
You might show up just to play 18 holes but you won’t leave without a history lesson with today's feature: $17 for 18 Holes with Cart at Reddeman Farms Golf Club in Chelsea ($35 Value. Expires November 1, 2016!)
Previously a working dairy farm, the 1991 Bob Louhouse/Howard Smith design has made use of the barns and silo by weaving the front nine around them, preserving the quaint country atmosphere. Golfers enjoy walking the course and admiring the scenery just as much as they enjoy conquering each hole.
Located 8 miles west of Ann Arbor, just far enough to faintly hear the buzz of distant traffic, the course boasts a 6,525 yard layout complete with rolling fairways, undulating greens and water on 13 holes.
Perhaps the most unique characters at Reddeman Farms can be found roaming the back nine with watchful eyes. Max and Hogan, resident black and yellow labs, have been loyal staff members for many years. Their job is to make sure Reddeman visitors enjoy their outing and aren’t disturbed by geese.
Spectacular views are experienced from the full restaurant and bar in the clubhouse, overlooking the course. Aside from the beautiful setting, Reddeman Farms Golf Club offers a full range of golf amenities including top-quality golf carts, driving range and a practice green.
Rated one of Washtenaw County’s finest public golf courses, Reddeman Farms Golf Club is an exciting and challenging course for every caliber of golfer.
