Jackson County Country Club, originally opened in 1923, was developed on a fertile plot of densely forested land. While much of the surrounding area has been incorporated into a patchwork of farmland, Jackson County CC has retained a lot of its foliage to provide a pleasing aesthetic and additional challenge.
Located just off Highway 13, Jackson County Country Club was designed by course architect David Arthur Gill. Using its placement in between Lake Henry and two other lakes to its advantage, Jackson County CC features 6,014 yards of subtle beauty. In fact, several holes border the lake while playing in and around the winding woods with formidable fairways.
Providing guests with a friendly environment and a course that adapts well to any and all skill levels, the par-71 Jackson County CC has a course/slope rating of 69.0/124 atop manicured Zoysia grass. The greens are nicely manicured and are among the best in the county.
This facility hosts a variety of tournaments and events, with a year-round bar and restaurant and seasonal memberships for both golf and the private pool.
This fine establishment is sure to impress more than just the members. So for excellent golf and private atmosphere, enjoy a round at the casual Jackson County Country Club.
