Located in beautiful Port Charlotte on the Gulf side of the state, today’s feature course, The Cove of Rotonda Golf Center, offers up one of the most unique playing experiences you’ll find anywhere in the Sunshine State. Featuring an 18-hole executive course that plays just over 3,600 yards from the back set of tees, what you’ll find at The Cove is a destination of golf you’ll want to visit time and time again.
Don’t let the course’s executive length fool you – this beautiful layout packs quite the punch against golfers of any and all skill levels. In true Florida fashion, the natural landscape provides much of the difficulty throughout the layout including generous areas of water, rolling undulation and mounding, and various species of natural foliage and indigenous grasses The course is also extremely well-bunkered, meaning you’ll want to make sure your sand game is in shape before taking any risks out on the course. You may not need your driver very many times throughout your round here, but you’ll need to be accurate with your irons and confident with your putter if you’re to walk away from The Cove with any kind of low score.
Not only will your day of fun at The Cove of Rotonda Golf Center be one to remember because of the beautiful golf course, you’ll also get to enjoy some of the area’s best amenities. For practice, The Cove offers a full-service lighted aqua driving range as well as a relaxed chipping and putting area. The golf shop carries all of the basics you’ll need to hit the course, and the fully stocked snack bar will help you toast your scores after your round with your beverage of choice. The Cove’s awesome course also happens to be one of the only area layouts that features stadium lighting throughout, allowing you to take on these links even after the sun goes down.
