Playing just over 5,300 yards from the back set of tees (of which there are three), Potter’s Park features country club-caliber conditions, truly exceptional challenging greens, and a masterpiece layout that will provide every golfer with an afternoon of fun they won’t soon forget.

Though they’re part of the same incredible layout, both the front and back nine at Potter’s Park offer unique challenges and playing experiences distinct unto themselves. The front nine, which plays just over 3,100 yards from the back set of tees, features a standard layout of two par-3s, several par-5s, and a majority of par-4s. As you prepare to make the turn, the 9th hole stops you dead in your tracks with a 200-plus-yard par-3 challenge that is straight uphill and plays as one of the course’s most difficult challenges. The back nine, which plays significantly shorter than the front at 2,247 yards, certainly favors those who can hit it long off the tee, but big hitters beware: the back’s three par-3s, all over 170 yards, play as some of the most challenging par-3s in the entire state.

Each hole on the front and back feature a true 1920s-style green as a cherry on top of the course’s already testy layout. Small, undulated, and a challenge to read for even the most experienced eye, golfers who want to shoot a low score on the day will have to do it on the greens with their flat stick as well as off the tee their driver.
