Designed by the combined talents of Rusty Simmons and Gene Daniel, the course showcases the natural Carolina countryside throughout, and provides an equally excellent challenge for each and every golfer – regardless of skill level. Your ability to keep your score low will be tested by water present on nearly every hole, mature trees lining many of the course’s fairways, and multiple lengthy 500-plus-yard par-5s that require two long, accurate shots for a chance to hit a green in regulation and make par. Keep your distance from the hazards and do your best to navigate the fast, undulated greens with your flatstick, and you may just walk away from Bear Trail with one of your low scores of the year.
