Timber Ridge Golf Club, a 2002 Golf Digest 5-star course, was sculpted out of a mature tree nursery that was planted in the late 1940’s. The hilly terrain and existing marshland made it a perfect canvas for Jerry Matthews to create a superb course in the state's capitol. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course inspires golfers of every skill level with its pristine natural setting dominated by towering pines, hardwoods, lakes and natural marshes.

Though pine needles and natural grasses allow for increased success of recovery shots, don't mistake this course for a walk in the park. With plenty of bunkers and water hazards lurking, you will have to think your way around the course to score well. You'll have several chances to go big off the tee and if you find your shot a bit wayward, use your cart's new state-of-the-art GPS system to improve the odds of executing a successful recovery.

The outstanding practice facilities at Timber Ridge will not let you down. The full-length natural grass tee driving range will allow you to warm up your swing properly while the putting green and chipping area will help you dial in before you begin your round.
