Reems Creek Golf Club
Enjoy a quintessential semi-private mountain course with today's feature: $22 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Reems Creek Golf Club in Weaverville near Asheville ($50 Value. Good Any Time until August 1, 2017!)
The Asheville area is known for its plethora of great courses and Reems Creek Golf Club proudly represents the best of what the region has to offer. Nestled snugly in a lovely valley with the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains all around, this is a place that will linger in mind long after you've holed your last putt on No. 18.
Reems Creek Golf Club was founded in 1989 based on a design by Hawtree Limited — the same British firm on the shortlist for development of the 2016 Olympic Golf Course in Rio and also putting the finishing touches on Royal Birkdale in Southport, England. Three generations of architectural expertise have culminated into the picturesque, panoramic golf experience you see today.
The course takes full advantage of its designers' backgrounds, shaping the hilly terrain into a carefully contoured fairways and greens reminiscent of Scottish Hills. Most of the holes on this 6,492-yard par-72 mountain course feature tricky elevation changes that will test your club and shot selection. You'll also find the greens offer no better comfort. With the topography playing games with your eyes, the fair speed of the greens only exacerbate any misreads. But, to ease the burden, Reems Creek offers two additional sets of tees, measuring as little as 4,605 yards with a 68.1/122 course/slope rating.
Reems Creek Golf Club, offering a spectacular golf course that perfectly captures the splendor and rustic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a four-star venue and most certainly an unforgettable "must-play" facility.
