Oconee Country Club
Play a classic Carolina round with today’s feature: $15 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Oconee Country Club in Seneca near Greenville ($41 Value. Good Any Time until July 15, 2017!)
Built on the fertile grounds of an old farmstead, today’s feature course, Oconee Country Club, is a semi-private masterpiece that shows off the true beauty of the Carolina countryside at every turn. Recently updated with Diamond Zoysia greens and always meticulously manicured, Oconee’s unique and unparalleled playing experience is truly one of a kind – and one you shouldn’t miss!
Though it might be considered a short course by today’s standards, Oconee’s 6,000-yard layout is about as far from being a pushover as a course can get. The 18 holes here are intricately constructed upon a very woodsy and undulated landscape, which combine together to provide the bulk of the challenge here. Water is also in play, and is especially prevalent on the back nine where two forced carries on #13 and on #15 have been known to play spoiler to many who are trying to finish out a great round. Rated 68.1/123 from the back set of tees (of which there are three), Oconee’s playable and well-maintained track is a classic American golf course whose 1940s layout has only improved over time.
But the course isn’t the only story you’ll find at Oconee; the facility also features a complete set of amenities you’ll want to check out. The practice facility is a true gem, thanks to its two practice greens and full-service driving range. The golf shop is fully stocked with equipment and apparel, and the lounge and grill will help you toast your scores after your round. The course is also one of the area’s only places to take part in the hottest thing in golf: footgolf, and the front nine has been specially outfitted for play.
One of the finest courses that you’ll find in Oconee County and beyond, Oconee County Club is sure to become a favorite of your whole foursome. Reserve your round now.
