A majority of holes feature fairways that are fairly wide open to be bombed off of the tee, but big hitters should take note that several holes, including the par-5 12th, are surprisingly narrow, and will punish even a slight push right or pull left. Cleverly placed water and sand bunkers are in play here, but both pale in comparison to the constant presence of large mature trees lining nearly every fairway and rough. The key to shooting a low score at Echo Farms is to follow three simples rules: execute shots, play it safe around the hazards, and learn early to putt well on these deceptive greens – as they can be the make or break challenge of your round.
