Enjoy a Hoosier State destination with today’s feature: $14 for 18 Holes with Cart and Small Bucket of Range Balls at Tri-Way Golf Course in Plymouth near South Bend ($34 Value. Good Any Day, Any Time until September 1, 2017!)
Built on the fertile grounds of a 100-year-old family farm, today’s featured facility, Tri-Way Golf Club in Plymouth, has been providing the people of Indiana with exceptional rounds of golf in a relaxed environment for over 50 years. Now home to two stunning 18-hole layouts that represent the perfect mix of playability and challenge, this can’t-miss destination is sure to impress even the most experienced player.
Though they’re both considered quintessential Midwestern challenges, the North Course and South Course at Tri-Way are two distinct individual layouts that will test your shotmaking ability from tee to green. The South course is definitely not for the faint of heart, as water is in play on more than half of the holes cause havoc for inconsistent players. Playing just a bit longer than the North at 6,340 yards from the back tees, strong play with your irons and wedges is essential to shooting a low number on the day.
The North 18, playing 6,330 yards from the back tees, is similarly tricky, and also features water in play on many of the holes (including several forced carries). The presence of trees isn’t quite as daunting here, but accuracy off of the tee and strong approach shots are paramount to keeping your score manageable.
Though the layouts differ, one constant that runs between both courses are the incredible greens at Tri-Way. Newly reworked and exceptionally well-manicured, these putting surfaces roll smooth and true, and are deceptively challenging to even the most skilled putter. Take a few extra seconds to read your putts, and you may see it reflect positively in your score.
Not only does Tri-Way Golf Club's two awesome courses make it one of the premier golfing facilities in the Hoosier State, it's also home to a great set of amenities that are a must-visit for all who come to play. Practice makes perfect at the extensive practice facility that includes a full-service driving range, chipping area, and practice putting green designed to help you properly warm up. After your round, be sure to stop into the Harris Station Bar & Grill for a delicious bite and refreshing drink to toast your day of fun.
