Bluff Creek Golf Course
Gorgeous golf awaits you with today’s feature: $16 for 18 Holes with Cart at Bluff Creek Golf Course in Greenwood near Indianapolis ($35 Value. Good Any Time until July 15, 2017!)
If you want to truly experience golf the way it is meant to be played, today’s feature course, Bluff Creek Golf Course in Greenwood, gives you just that opportunity. Built as a stand-alone course without a house or building (besides the clubhouse) in sight, Bluff Creek’s gorgeous layout and challenging construction make it one of Johnson County’s most sought-after rounds of golf.
Located just a short drive south from Indianapolis, Bluff Creek’s relaxed and scenic 171-acre facility feels a world away from modern civilization – and for good reason. Surrounded by the waters of the Bluff Creek and the gorgeous wooded countryside of the Midwest, players will find the course is both playable and challenging thanks to its relatively forgiving nature but fairly frequent areas of challenge. Natural heather grasses, trees, and water come into play on more than half of the course’s holes, so be sure to focus on accuracy with your driver and long irons if you want to shoot a low score here.
After you make the turn and a grab a snack, you’ll be treated to Bluff Creek’s two signature par-3s: the challenging 10th and 16th holes. The 10th, playing just 111 yards from the back tees, is an intimidating blind tee shot that is 70 feet down with little room for error. Be sure to play this one at least 20 yards shorter than the scorecard says if you want to hit the green in regulation.
The 16th, like the 10th, requires an exceptionally accurate tee shot for a chance at par or better. 16 requires a complete carry over water (178 yards from the back tees) into a prevailing wind that can make it play an extra club or more when it’s really blowing. Though you can miss long or left here without getting wet, there is virtually no guaranteed up and down for even the most skilled player.
An all-around exceptional golf experience in a peaceful and scenic setting, Indiana golf is at its finest at Bluff Creek. Don’t wait – reserve your round now!
