Both the Valley Course and Palm Course offer their own unique challenges, but are united by exceptional conditioning and an incredible scenic setting you won’t find anywhere else.

The Palm Course, playing the longer of the two courses at 6,761 yards from the back set of tees, is a picturesque masterpiece that looks like something straight out of a golf magazine. A par-72 layout that carries a slope rating of 131 and a course rating of 72.3, the unique rolling fairways and large amounts of water in play force players to really focus on course management and proper shot selection/execution. The greens, a challenge to read for even the best putter in your foursome, are famously quick and smooth-rolling, creating another layer of challenge on this already testy course.

Like its sister Palm Course, the Valley Course, playing just over 6,600 yards from the back set of tees, was conceived and designed by noted course architect Ted Robinson, Sr. – and he did a killer job. The stunning layout is a long-hitter’s paradise, allowing the biggest swingers in your group to let it fly with reckless abandon thanks to wide-open landing areas that offer plenty of forgiveness for a little fade or draw. Rated 71.7 and measuring a slope of 127, it’s truly an exceptional course to play.

Like everything at the Desert Springs resort, the golf amenities available to players are truly outstanding. The courses feature a unique two-ended driving range, with tees adorning both ends of the massive range to allow dozens of golfers to warm up at once. Two practice putting greens are available for warm up, and the fully stocked pro shop carries everything from equipment and apparel to accessories from all of the game’s biggest brands. Also on site is the nation’s first 18-hole all-natural turf putting course, complete with contoured fairways, sand traps, lakes, streams, and waterfalls – an awesome experience at any age. To top it all off, GPS-equipped carts ensure you always know just how far you are from greens and hazards, adding the cherry on top of this one-of-a-kind playing experience.
